"More and more boats are now fitted with a pressurized water system for sinks, toilets, showers, refrigerators with ice makers, and taps," says Jay Naval, Product Manager at ITT Corporation. "The high pressure capability of this five chamber pump provides exceptional flow and stable water pressure to easily handle the demand of 3 to 4 outlets at one time."
The built in bypass design recirculates the back pressure back into the pump to reduce unwanted cycling when the pump is restricted, which results in quieter and smoother flow. For best results an accumulator tank should be installed with this pump.
The Par-Max 7.0 GPM Water Pressure Pump includes a PumpgardTM strainer, soft rubber mounts, and quick connect fittings for ease of installation. They self prime up to 10ft (3m) and run dry without damage. Manufactured from corrosion resistant materials, this Par-Max is capable of pumping water up to 70°C (160°F). Available in either 12 or 24 volt DC versions, the Par-Max 7.0 GPM Water Pressure Pump is certified to EN ISO 8846 Marine (Ignition Protection).
