Accumulator Tanks provide many advantages when fitted to on-board water pressure systems that are driven by conventional pumps. They smooth water flow and reduce on/off cycling, which gives a quieter operation, as well as helping to extend the pump's working life. They also provide better hot water control on installations using instant water heaters.
The new Mini Tank from Jabsco is ideal as a low cost retro-fit, a replacement, or to use where space is limited. Despite its compact size it delivers virtually the same benefits as larger tanks. It is an internal bladder design which means that it is normally maintenance free for life, whilst its capacity of 0.6 litres enables a couple of glasses of water to be filled at night even without switching on the pump.
It is easy to install and all ports have quick-connect fittings. It can be mounted anywhere convenient on the system and measuring just 214mm x 119mm
(8.4 inches x 4.7 inches), can be used where space is limited. Jabsco pre-charge pressure in the tanks to 10 psi (0.7 bar), but this can be user adjusted to suit your particular installation. Maximum operating pressure is up to 125 psi (8.6 bar) and there is a mounting point for fitting an optional pressure switch for even smoother operation. |
